About

Jared “Jay Vincent B” Baisley is a Billboard #1 producer, singer, songwriter, and multi-genre creative working across R&B, hip-hop, pop, blues, alternative rock, and cinematic music. Classically trained on piano and grounded in over two decades of production and audio engineering, he combines polished sonics with emotionally direct songwriting. A great-grandson of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame legend and renowned folk and blues guitarist, Lead Belly, Jay carries forward a musical lineage rooted in storytelling, rhythm, and cultural influence.

Born and raised in San Francisco, Jay began singing in church at age seven and writing lyrics by age nine, later building a professional career that included a two-year production and songwriting deal with Interscope Records. He has collaborated with GRAMMY-nominated talent, including working alongside 7x GRAMMY-nominated producer, Haskel Jackson, Jr., on production and creative development.

Jay’s production work spans records, film/TV, and commercial placements. Credits include production on the Billboard #1 Blues Album Bad As I Wanna Be by Malina Moye, contributions to a Daytime Emmy-nominated project, and placements including the theme for the top-rated Facebook Watch series Ball in the Family. He also produced and is featured on the neo-alternative rock album The Phoenix Rises by Élishia Sharie.

As an artist, Jay is one-third of the R&B/Hip-Hop group Dyles Mavis, serving as a singer, songwriter, rap lyricist, and composer—known for moving between soulful hooks and introspective verses.

Beyond entertainment, he serves as Chief Operations Officer of Music For Your Mental Health (MFYMH), a nonprofit organization integrating music, wellness, and trauma-informed practices to support youth and communities. Jay Vincent B continues expanding his catalog across recording projects and collaborative productions, while deepening his community-centered work through MFYMH.
